Edible Garden Consultation
Firstly we need to come out and see your backyard at a time that is most convenient to you. At this stage we will make sure we can design something that will get you the most out of your garden.
The consultation is a verbal exchange and usually takes between 30-50 minutes. We develop your brief to ensure we design the best possible solution for you.
The consultation fee within the Perth metropolitan area is $40. Patches that require greater travel can be discussed at the time of contact.
Maintenance
If time is a restriction, you don’t seem to have a green thumb or you simply want to get the full potential out of your edible garden, Your Patch offers a professional and reliable garden maintenance service. A staff member will come out each fortnight to maintain your vegetable garden.
Maintaining a year round organic garden is not as easy as it may seem. In Perth alone we have many pests that can kill a crop overnight especially in the early stages. Therefore, we highly recommended that you look into our maintenance program to get the best out of your vegetables and increase your knowledge on how to cultivate homegrown organic produce. Regular monitoring of the soil condition in your garden (eg. moisture, minerals, pH and a monthly spread of sheep dags) is the main objective of our maintenance calls.
The Your Patch Maintenance Program involves:
- Keeping your patch organic & healthy
- Pest & disease control
- Continuous soil conditioning
- Irrigation system checks
- Transplanting & replanting
- Mulching & Composting
- Pruning
- Re-planting certified organic seeds and seedlings
Your Patch maintenance fees are $45.55 (GST inc) per fortnight for up to four tanks then the rate changes to $62.50 (GST inc) for 5 or more tanks due to increased maintenance time.
